THE ANAAHAT PROJECT
Projects
1st Annual Volleyball Tournament
The Anaahat Project's inaugural volleyball tournament was held on August 12, 2023. Thanks to the generous support of sponsors, five spirited teams, and open-hearted donors, we raised a remarkable $1300. This substantial contribution was directed to Mavan Da Ashram in Punjab, India, a haven for homeless elderly women. The funds facilitated the purchase of six heaters, a geyser for hot water, an LG washing machine, and other items Together, we've made a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

2nd Annual Volleyball Tournament
With five enthusiastic teams participating, this tournament was a true community success. From generous donations to shared meals and raffle prizes, the event was a testament to what our community can accomplish together. Through these collective efforts, we raised an incredible $3,000, which was donated toward the construction of a women’s shelter in Punjab, India, providing safety, dignity, and support for women in need.

CIBC Run for the Cure
The Anaahat Project execs laced up our sneakers and hit the pavement at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford for the CIBC Run for the Cure! The mission was clear: to inspire, educate, and unite in the fight against breast cancer. By participating in this empowering event, we aim to raise awareness, funds, and hope for a future free of this disease. Let's continue to run together towards a brighter tomorrow!

Winter Drive - Sara for Women
Joining hands with SARA for Women, The Anaahat Project embarked on a mission of compassion, collecting new and gently used items for those fleeing domestic violence. Through Smiles Through Seva's 'Small Leads to Big Project,' we added $400 worth of new clothes and hygiene essentials. And thanks to your incredible $600 donation, we stocked up on everything. Together, we're making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need, one thoughtful contribution at a time.
