Advocacy

We're Stronger Together

To this day women’s health is still heavily stigmatized and there is a clear lack of education and resources provided to women regarding their own health. We aim to provide education to women about several women’s health issues to help them be more aware of their own bodies and make active decisions about their wellbeing. We regularly hold fundraisers where we donate proceeds to women’s causes and help provide resources to those in need. Thus far we have donated menstrual hygiene care packages to the Salvation Army to help combat period poverty, provided essential daily and living resources to a women’s shelter called Mavan Da Ashram in Punjab, India. Moreover, we donated personal hygiene items and clothing to Sara for Women to help women and children escaping and recovering from domestic violence.

Empowerment

Empower and Inspire Women

Our organization hopes to empower and inspire women to reach their greatest potential and be limitless in their aspirations. Our In Her Element series which commenced in honour of international women’s day recognizes the accomplishments made by women in our own community. Sharing these inspirational stories and acknowledging the impact that these amazing women have made helps to bring light to their initiatives and motivates others to do the same.

Education

Educate Others on Womens Health Issues

Through our informational education posts, we strive to provide knowledge about various women’s health issues. We have highlighted topics such as Endometriosis, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Breast Cancer, Cervical Cancer and Ovarian Cancer. Our goal with these posts is to raise awareness about health issues that women face and to create a conversation where women feel comfortable talking about their own health and taking initiative to care for their own wellbeing.
